Gulaman is made from seaweed and we even had experienced making our very own gulaman. My brother harvested some seaweed form his field trip and he read books on how to process them. It seemed easy at first but he found out that a lot of effort must be exerted to get the perfect results.
But for us, it's still the best! We enjoyed eating it and found it tasted better since we knew we were the ones who made it from scratch!
Gulaman is also used for cold drinks/refreshments like the sago't gulaman, buko pandan, halo-halo and many others
